For grievancies forpassed...

Alone you wander in the darkness
Trapped in memories that jump out of the blue
Like little dwarfs with clinking boots...
The noise, insanly loud, hammers your head like crazy
As if the world thwarts against you...
Like furious blows of a merciless past
They come at times when you least expect, crashing your present...

You needed them some time ago...
You needed to survive through them...
They offered you the air you breathed and the anger that kept you going...

Did they fade out that soon?
Did you let go of the memories that fast?
Does this mean that the thick veil of oblivion has covered your heart?

Faces of the past will always follow...
They can see through time and space...
Their eyes keep watching you
Through that washed-out photo you keep under your pillow...

Life... What a gift!
With baby steps you must go on...
Your fate itself has preset the course...
Alone or not, you will soon find out...
Your quest is out there, waiting for your grasp...
The universe keeps plotting...
No man knows whether it's for him or against him...
No matter what we suffered, we are doomed to start again...

Fresh starts... Perennial...

Midnight Drive

Across the oceans of the mind,
As if a black wild horse, our conscience gallops
Through cloud and mist,
Raiding the skies...

A midnight ride through time and revelations...
A solemn vast kingdom plumed with shades and valleys...

Through blossoming gardens with blood-red roses...
Through age-old forests filled with trees that reach infinity...
Through deserts where the evening breeze pierces the bones...
Through oceans raging with vendictive waves...

A ride through life, through death and anguish,
Where hopes of survival diminish by the moment...

We ride this beautiful restless animal, born to raid the human soul
Trapping each thought with its dashing grace
And let the wind run through our hair...

Midnigt ride...
Light and darkness alternating through leaves and solid ground...
The air and the mist define its borders
And at the end, its pace will slow down,
Lost among dreams, hopes and expectations...
A deadly finishing line leading to immortality...

Heaven and Hell unite...

Deep inside the dark abyss of the mind,
A thousand sounds, a thousand voices,
Scents of blossoms and of fear dance around into a misty landscape...

Mysteries and unforseeable quests are born within a moment
And vanish like shadows in the darkness...
Dreamers and wanderers,
Vagabonds but dandies,
Beautiful but monsterous,
Both angels and demons...

Our contradictions drive us above all other...
An image into a mirror split into a thousand pieces
A hope that faded like a spark in the void...

Rememberance

I will find some peace there...
For peace comes dropping slow...
Dropping from the veils of the morning,
To where the cricket sings...

And so it begins...
